Provide seamless integration between your Ignition SCADA and DSX Exchange
- DSX Connect is an Ignition MQTT Publisher Module that sends data from Ignition V8.3 using MQTT to the Nvidia DSX Exchange Event Bus v 1.0.0.
- The MQTT data sent using this Module conforms to DSX Event Bus metadata requirements allowing for streamlined integration from Ignition to DSX Exchange.
- Data entry is via Excel Spreadsheet with Tag-Paths exported from Ignition and metadata added in Excel. Column Headers and Names for metadata entry, align with DSX Exchange 1.0.0 requirements.
- Spreadsheet is uploaded into DSX Connect MQTT Module and Object Values and associated metadata are automatically published to DSX Exchange.
- If Ignition Tags change, are added or deleted, the new information can be exported from Ignition where it is added to the spreadsheet, and the objectType, pointType and metadata are then added to the spreadsheet by the Programmer. The updated spreadsheet is then re-uploaded into DSX Connect to publish the changed information to DSX Exchange.
- Note 1: A licensed copy of the DSX Connect Module is required for each I/O Server and Backup Server.
- Note 2: It is imperative that the programmer entering the data understand the DSX Exchange specifications for objectType, pointType and metadata requirements/configuration for proper data entry and integration to DSX Exchange Event Bus.
