Located in San Francisco, CA, The Westin St. Francis on Union Square was awarded an incentive check for $47,213 from PG&E’s Energy Efficiency Incentive Program – Lodging Savers. PG&E's Lodging Savers program allows businesses that install high-efficiency energy saving equipment to be rewarded with cash payments based on proven reduction in peak demand (kWh) and annual energy savings.

The Westin St. Francis upgraded their Air Handling Units (AHU) to Alerton’s Energy Management System (EMS) installed by Syserco, which provided the facilities team a tool to manage and provide efficient scheduling capabilities for AHUs serving the Westin St. Francis’ meeting and ballroom spaces. Alerton’s Energy Management System, installed by Syserco, will save the St. Francis over 400 kWh at an energy cost avoidance of $80,000 annually, with a 6 month ROI.
